ChatroSafe Overview ChatroSafe is a Proxy server located on the Interfun Network. By setting your browser to use this proxy while you are chatting it will mask your real IP adress from nosey users. This is especially usefull if you chat from work or have a static IP. This way users with IP addresses that resolve to a name such as yourname.yourcompany.com or yourcity.state.isp.com are somewhat protected from exposing themself on Chatropolis. You must be a member to use this service. Rules for Use You may only use Chatrosafe while you are on Chatropolis. You may not use it on other sites. It will not work on many chat sites and is very limited in it's usability off Chatropolis. First offense for abusing this service is a warning the second offence is losing your membership. PLease turn off ChatroSafe when you are not chatting. Configure ChatroSafe For experts simply set your poxy settings to chatrosafe.chatropolis.com port 3128 For IE users Select the tools tab, Internet options, Connections, The on the connections tab select settings. Check the proxy box and enter chatrosafe.chatropolis.com port: 3128 You will need to enter your username and password each time you use ChatroSafe. Remember to please turn it of by UN checking the proxy when you are not chatting
