How To Make A Flash Site

Once you've signed up and chosen the name for the site, choose a logo or saying.
Go to your admin panel and log in. Look at the list on the left as that is what
you will be setting up one at a time.

First choice is WebSite Intro. If you want one, choose from the Intro Category
and you must choose from the selections located in the second button. You can
Preview your choices without saving anything by simply hitting the Preview box
(with the eye). When you are finished with your selection Click on Intro Content
located above the Eye on the right. There is no need to save the Web Site until
    the end.

Take note of the special Editor Note popup. It states that you MUST erase one
letter and retype it when you are making revisions if you expect it to save. If
you forget to do that, it auto saves the previous entry.

There are 4 paragraphs in the Intro. Type in what you wish, highlight the text,
choose the font size, choose the color and any other attributes like Bold etc.
Then click on the body and go back and erase one letter and retype it. Move to
the next paragraph until you have entered something in all 4 or leave it blank.

You can add one picture to each paragraph by clicking on the little picture
graphic that's red. A window will open, browse for the picture and upload it.
Wait until it gives you the finished message and then move on to the next file
for paragraph 2 etc. Pictures MUST be JPG 320x240 or smaller. Any bigger and it
will not fit nor look right and might not show up at all. There is an option
there to delete pictures as well.

Next choice is from the column on the left. WebSite Interface. Same format.
Select Interface Category and Select Interface. If you do not select Interface
(second button) your site will not open because it does not know what you want.
Preview your choice. We will enter text later.

Go to left hand column again. Next choice is Background Themes. Select Theme
Category and Website Theme. You can upload your own custom background. Size
must be 760 X 420 pixels exactly please.

Next is Background Music located again on the list on the left. If you do not
want music then skip it. If you want music, Select Music category and Select
    Music Background. Preview your selections.

Next is Background Colors. Two choices here. One for the Intro and one for the
Web Site itself. Experiment with the colors for different effects.

Next is Movie Sizes. Skip it.

Next is Website Modules which is a small chatroom and a Feed Back forum. Choose
them and a pop up shows up. Click Yes if you want it. If you don't, skip it
    since the default is No.

You are done except for entering text. Now Save Website or you can move on to
    add content.

Website Content is the button to select to add the guts to your site. Type in
Website title, Slogan, and please do meta tags. - Updated: December 10, 2003

    2. Do I have to save the website after every change I make? - Top

No, as long as you erase one letter of the text and retype it, you can move from page to page without needing to save anything. it automatically saves it for you when you retype that letter. Save your site when you are finished. - Updated: December 6, 2003

    3. Do I have to keep highlighting the text to change the color after I changed the font size? - Top

No. Do not click on the body until you are finished with your changes. Highlight the text, select font size, select color, select attributes like bold etc. and then click on the body. 4. Why isn't the text saving when I make changes? - Top
