I'm profusely sorry for the service interruption. I hold no excuses and truth be told could not do anything to stop it. I did however do all I can to fix it and we are back up again. Basically some miscommunications occurred and the hosting fees were not paid for and I am not on that hosting account in order to receive notifications to pay up before service disruption. I waited as long as I could and finally was able to make arrangements with the hosting company to pay on behalf of Chatropolis (it is not My bill but never say I'm going through the motions and am not invested in this site). I also have made arrangements to get a heads up in case this occurs again so I can take preemptive steps so rest assured I WILL NOT allow this to happen again.
Now, I'm sure this has upset quite a few people and sadly there are just too many memberships to keep a track of so what I will do is receive emails and I will extend ALL members that email Me an extra 3 weeks onto their account. That I can do for you along with the assurance that this will not happen again. I know that may not be the most friendly way of doing things but there is no way to mass grant all accounts and they have to be done individually. I will do that for Yearly, 6 month, and 3 month account holders that already have accounts. PLEASE include your membership login or subscription ID in the email to Me. Those that canceled I cannot undo in order to grant two weeks. I'll extend this offer for a week so until 10/25.
Also, to let you know of what I was doing prior to the service interruption was setting up and getting ready the return of the Moderators. I have been hand picking them and creating a structure of fairness and to allow them to do their jobs but not be a bad influence or irritation (except to those breaking rules) to others which has been an issue in the past. Now that we're live again, I will be getting them their boots, verifying all is well, and allowing them to service you. There is a Mod link in the bottom frame of all chat rooms which will allow to telegraph a moderator to get their attention. This will allow the quickest response time.
Speaking of telegraphs, this feature will be re-enabled for communications with moderators only. My apologies again and I will do all I can to make things easier around here again.
