As usual one of our users came up with a great idea. First of and this was in the works for a long time the "WHOIS" button will change to "BIO" for Biography. This will be a simple list of questions, sex,age,ethnicity,single.married,Open, other basics. Now that support is by phone only it allows me to speak to almost 1000 users per month, sometimes more. One concern among men and especially our female users is "How do I know I'm talking to a guy/girl?". That's a great question in chat it's anyone's guess but on the phone I can tell with 99.999% accuracy. What about a "Verified" user program? No not your address or personal info like where you work just male/female/country of origin. This would be a chat first and be totally optional but I'll tell the guys a woman will be more likely to talk to someone they know isn't jerking their chain then one they aren't sure about. So how do we implement this for chatters that want to participate. We would have to do it in levels. Members would have a platinum level of verification. Members can't lie about their name and a simple dbase of either sex names can be used to add a ? to their verification, A lesser level of verification can be done by email,phone combination instantly. Say they are silver validation. A bronze validation can be done with a combination of email/survey and confirmation email. Since we have a pretty advanced call center and programmers that blow my mind we can make validation a lifetime thing for members/non-members alike. Validated members will have a appropriate colored icon in their profile and it would be very small upon sign-on. I want to STRESS THIS WILL BE OPTIONAL AND IS ONLY IN THE HEY THAT MIGHT BE COOL STAGE. It would be optional and only users wanting to participate would get validated. If you want to remain completely anonymous then that's how you will be. Chatro was build on anonymity and it will remail that way even with an optional verification program.I can't say optional enough. NOBODY WILL EVER BE REQUIRED TO REGISTERED TO CHAT HERE! Say that 1000 times in your head. But I have talked to hundreds of ladies that are looking for relationships, online,telephone,realtime and everything in between. Let's face it guys the gals got the decision in this one and if they only want to trust a verified user for cybersex or even just talking that could be their option. We will comply. I want to stress this is in the "Thinking" stage. Since it would be lifetime we would need a complex method of keeping and retaining,upgrading verification. Like say a guy has the wiener removed? It will surely happen here. The whole thing is to make things more fun and comfortable. The idea was presented to me by many users and I would love to talk to anyone that has an idea on the subject. Chatro has been responsible for many relationships over our 15+ year history and we will cause many more. I literally have stacks of engagement notices, newspaper clippings,wedding invites and more. The fact that so much good comes out of something everyone at Chatropolis loves to do is so rewarding it keeps me writing into the night like now 9:45 PM drinking a hot chocolate at home watching TV with my daughter.
