Chatropolis/Interfun only stores the folowing information. Name, address, ZIP, sex and age. If you use support or another service that requires privacy and tracking we use a system called ReadNotify. This records syetem information mostly for support requests. But we do use it in our markietng for demogragraphics. Mostly to better serve our users. WE DO NOT STORE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON ANY SERVER AT INTERFUN. This information is stored by a 3rd party under extremely high security. That's why when you say "Just use my card for a new membership" we can't because we don't know that information. Chatropolis will never give out your information simply by a request of another user. Not even our Trustees have access to your name here. Sometimes Chatropolis will email users if there is something very important that needs to be disseminated quickly. We may form partnerships with ethical companies that have products you may be interested. This has not happened in years and we are not looking to do so. But just incase I want to cover our asses. While chatting beaware that some people
attempt to get information from you for other purposes. A simple question
like what's your ZIP code could release alot of information. Never give
out your name or location online. We can not say PM's are 100% secure
because
our lawyers would throw a hissy fit. But I will offer a 500 dollar check
to anyone that can show me how to listen to a PM. Nobody has collected
the money yet.
